Tuesday Quick Hits

The Kings hit the ice at 8:30 this morning, their first day back at it after their game Saturday in Salmon Arm. The team will be preparing for a busy three days this weekend.

The Kings are in Coquitlam Friday night for a date with the Express. Then it's an early morning ferry back to Powell River for they're contest with Langley at 7:30pm at the Hap on Saturday. Powell River concludes action with a Halloween Sunday matinee with Langley at 1:30pm. That's three games in two and a half days, good thing their young.

A couple of news and notes from the BCHL:

• Team Canada's West roster for the upcoming World Jr. A Challenge in Penticton was announced. It includes 8 BCHL'ers, non of which are Kings. More info here

     Congratulations to those players who were selected, as they will do a great job in representing the BCHL.

• The BCHL announced their Player of the Week. The Honours go to Bradley McGowan. Chad Niddery, once again, received an honourable mention. Click Here

After a busy start to the season, I FINALLY get the opportunity to watch a Canucks game, on TV.  Now you know where I will be come 7pm.
