Kings Sign Hawryluk Twins

The Powell River Kings are pleased to announce they have signed  forwards Brendan and Bond  Hawryluk for the remainder of the season. The 19 year old twins from Nampa, Alberta were playing as  Affiliate Player's for the past three weeks. The brothers started the season with the Fernie Ghostriders of the KIJHL.

Bond has recorded 1 goal and 1 assist in 6 games and Brendan has picked up 2 goals in 5 games.

Associate Head Coach Chad van Diemen stated, " we brought them in for a try out and they earned a  permanent roster spot with their performance  both on and off the ice."

The signing also means the Kings had to shuffle their roster. The team announced they  have released forward Nick Indelicato. The 18 year-old from Pembroke, Massachusetts has signed with the Fresno Monsters of the  North American Hockey League

The Kings would like to thank Nick for his contributions to the organization and wish him the best of luck in Fresno.
