Kings add depth at forward

For those that are unaware, the Kings have added forward Scott Renner from the Penticton Vee's.

From the BCHL website: The Powell River Kings Hockey Club acquire the playing rights of Scott Renner (92)(F) from the Penticton Vees Hockey Club as part of the future considerations portion of the transfer of Jordan Grant from Powell River to Penticton initially.

Assistant Coach, Geoff Grimwood on the newest aacquisition "Scott is going to bring size, speed and toughness to our line-up. He is very good on the fore-check, and fans will like his grit and determination on the ice."

Scott is from West Kelowna, and applied his trade last season with the Chase Chiefs of the KIJHL. In 47 games, he recorded 5 goals and 10 helpers along with 151 penalty minutes, which lead the team.

Renner will wear number 44 and could possibly be in the line-up for the opening weekend versus Alberni Valley and Nanaimo.
