That was the scene last night as the Powell River Kings out slugged the Prince George Spruce Kings 4-1. However no one was talking about the scoreline as much as they were talking about the fight card.

In total 111 penalty minutes were dished out, 45 of which belonged to the Kings. Furthermore the two teams combined for 10 fighting majors all of which came in the third period. Chris Williams, Brenden Forbes, Matt Garbowsky, Teagan Waugh and Scott Renner all received fighting majors.

Brenden Forbes received a five minute major and a game misconduct for a hit from behind and is automatically tagged with a two game suspension. He won't be eligible to return until January 2nd in Langley.

If your wondering, the Kings ended up one for eight on the power-play and Prince George was one for three. This game was more one sided then it looked.

Powell River out shot Prince George 52 to 11, including out shooting the Sprucies 18 to 3 in the first period.  The Kings stretched their win streak to seven games and now sit 12 points ahead of Langley for first in the Coastal conference.
