KINGS WIN AGAIN OVER CHIEFS 4-0

Judging by the opening period the score posted above would come as a surprise to some But games aren't decided after twenty minutes and the Kings showed why.

After a scoreless first period which saw chances for either team the Kings scored four consecutive including two in the second for a 4-0 win over Langley. Mike Garteig made 27 saves for his sixth shutout of the season now only one back of tying the single season record.

Chris Williams, Teagan Waugh, Brenden Forbes and Matt Garbowsky scored for the Kings. the trio of Waugh, Shinkaruk and Forbes collected four points and played yet another great game. Shinkaruk has five points in his last six and Waugh now is riding a three game goal scoring streak. Speaking of goals streaks, Garbowsky's 23rd extends his goal scoring streak to six games.

Powell River now has a record of 4-0-1-1 against Langley  and are now 10 points up on the Chiefs for first in the Coastal Conference.

Powell River is in Surrey on Friday.
